Holt Goddard is counsel in the Capital Markets and Corporate Securities Group. Holt has over two decades’ experience working in capital markets, with a particular focus on IPOs and high-yield bond financings. He represents issuers and underwriters in diverse industries, including shipping, retail, media and life sciences.
Holt has also extensive experience representing public companies with their SEC reporting and working on mergers & acquisitions, restructurings, bank financings, and SPAC transactions.
Holt has worked with clients located in the United States and abroad, including Europe, Asia, Africa and South America.
Prior to joining Seward & Kissel, Holt worked at other prominent NY law firms and was also general counsel for an international biotechnology company.
Holt received an M.B.A from Yale School of Management and a J.D. from Columbia Law School.
