Erica Penn-Mensah is an associate in the Corporate Finance Group. She joined the firm in 2023.
Erica is a member of the derivatives and structured products practice. She primarily assists buy-side clients negotiating a wide range of trading documentation such as ISDA master agreements and collateral arrangements, trade confirmations, tri-party custody arrangements, prime brokerage, futures and swap clearing agreements, margin lock-up agreements, and master securities forward transaction agreements (MSFTAs). She advises clients on the Dodd-Frank Act, compliance with the uncleared margin rules (including SEC margin rules), implementation of the treasury clearing rules and other regulatory issues. Erica has also assisted clients with complex structured financing transactions.
Prior to joining Seward & Kissel LLC, Erica was a Vice President managing derivatives related projects for a major global investment bank, Erica received a B.A. from University of Florida and a J.D. from William & Mary School of Law.
