Practices
Beth H. Alter is Counsel in Seward & Kissel’s Intellectual Property Practice Group. Beth has been practicing law since 1994 and joined Seward & Kissel in 2003.
Beth counsels clients with respect to a wide range of intellectual property issues, including trademark, copyright and unfair competition matters, and protection of the rights of privacy and publicity. Beth’s practice incorporates all aspects of domestic and international trademark law, including clearance and registration; licensing, transfers and other transactional matters; and policing and enforcement. Beth also concentrates on practice before the U.S. Copyright Office and on counseling clients with respect to domain name, internet and new media matters. Beth has advised clients in a wide variety of industries, including financial services, apparel, hotels, food, pharmaceuticals, packaging, computers, and news and entertainment.
