Seward & Kissel and GFIN Host FFO Event Series: Session II: Seeder + Capital Raising

On Tuesday, October 15th, Seward & Kissel LLP and the Global Female Investors Network (GFIN) hosted the second session in their Female Fund Owners (FFO) Event Series intended to help female emerging managers succeed by providing an intimate forum to discuss concerns, strategies, and advice for forming a competitive fund management business. Seward & Kissel partners Noelle Indelicato and Danielle Lemberg led the session, which included attendees from many different areas of the industry.

Session II highlighted seeder and capital raising, including:

  • Pros/cons of seeding arrangements
  • Customary terms for friends and family discounts
  • Working with a third party fundraiser
