Represented Knightsbridge Tankers Limited (Nasdaq: VLCCF), an international shipowning company, in connection with its $360 million acquisition of six Capesize bulk carrier newbuildings from Frontline 2012 Ltd. and Karpasia Shipping Inc.

In April 2014, Knightsbridge Tankers Limited (Nasdaq: VLCCF), an international shipowning company, acquired five fuel efficient 180,000 DWT Capesize bulk carrier newbuildings from Frontline 2012 Ltd. and one Capesize bulk carrier from Karpasia Shipping Inc., a company controlled by a trust established by John Fredriksen for the benefit of his immediate family, for total consideration of approximately $360 million, consisting of $186 million paid in shares of Knightsbridge at $10 per share, $150 million in absorption of remaining newbuilding capex and $24 million in cash. A Seward & Kissel team led by partners Gary Wolfe, James Abbott and James Cofer, and counsel Anthony Tu-Sekine and Nick Katsanos, represented Knightsbridge in this transaction.
