Seward & Kissel Named a Finalist by M&A Advisor for 2008 Law Firm of the Year at the Middle Market M&A Awards Gala

Seward & Kissel was named by The M&A Advisor as a Finalist for the 2008 Law Firm of the Year award, and Magic Hat Brewing Company’s acquisition of Pyramid Breweries, on which the firm acted as buyer’s counsel, was named as a Finalist for the Corporate Strategic Acquisition of the Year (Below $100 mm) as well as the Consumer and Retail Products Deal of the Year (Below $100 mm).

The M&A Advisor is a leading information publisher for middle-market mergers and acquisitions and finance and its Middle-Market M&A Awards honor the deal-teams and deal-makers that have closed M&A transactions each year and the firms whose activities set the standard for the M&A industry. Finalists for the 2008 awards were chosen in 35 categories from a pool of almost 400 nominees. The Awards will be announced at the 7th Annual Middle-Market M&A Awards Gala, which is being held on Monday, December 15, 2008 at the historic Hudson Theatre in New York City.
