Joseph (“Joey”) Schwemm Tuck is a counsel in Seward & Kissel’s Corporate Finance Group. His practice covers a broad range of financing facilities, including term and revolving loans, securitizations, forward flow asset sales, fund subscription and net asset value (“NAV”) lines, warehouses and other structured products and lending transactions. Joey represents a wide range of clients, including lenders, issuers, originators, and asset managers in the purchase, sale and financing of a variety of assets, including secured and unsecured consumer loans, collateralized loan obligations (“CLOs”), student loans, fund commitments, auto loans, trade receivables and other traditional and esoteric assets.

He received a B.A. from The George Washington University, an LL.M. from Universidad Pontificia Comillas and a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law. Immediately prior to joining Seward & Kissel, Joey worked in-house managing the capital markets legal team at buy-now-pay-later company Affirm, Inc.

Joey is admitted to practice law in New York, California and Illinois.
