Practices
Laura Miller is counsel in the Litigation & Investigations Group. Since joining Seward & Kissel in 2016, Laura’s practice has focused primarily on complex commercial litigation, government investigations, and regulatory inquiries. Laura also has significant experience in maritime litigation arising from the collapse of the O.W. Bunker Group, as part of the team representing ING Bank N.V., as Security Agent, in over two dozen lawsuits pending in the district courts and the Second, Fifth, and Eleventh Circuits. She is also a contributor to Seward & Kissel’s Corporate Restructuring & Bankruptcy blog, Back in (the) Black.
Laura received a B.A. from Cornell University and a J.D. from Columbia Law School, where she was both a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and a James Kent Scholar. Prior to joining Seward & Kissel, Laura was a litigation associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP.
Laura is admitted to practice in the State of New York and the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
